We offer a comprehensive range of professional structural engineering consultancy services across all stages of a project, from feasibility through to construction. We work on a wide variety of project sizes, from minor residential alterations, to large commercial developments. A list of some of the services we provided are listed below.
Structural Reports
We can provide various structural reports to help aid planning for your commercial or domestic project. planning, barn conversion, defect and intrusive surveys.
Feasibility Design
Preliminary designs in partnership with the architect/QS/Cost Consultant which provides outline assessments and calculations to determine if a proposed project is viable from a structural and financial standpoint before being submitted for planning or detailed design.
Superstructure Design
Calculations and drawings for structural elements from simple beam designs up to full 3D structural frame analysis and design. Various materials, fabrication and construction methods are used to best suit the project needs and deal with any site/project constraints.
Substructure Design
Design of site specific strip/trench foundations, pad foundations, pile caps, ground beams, retaining walls, raft foundations, ground floor slabs etc. to transfer the proposed building loads safely to the ground whilst also taking into account any site/ground constraints.
Temporary Works Design
Design of various support structures for contractors to provide support in the temporary case during construction. These can involve lateral shoring of an existing façade, needle and propping of existing walls or vertical propping of existing beams.
Site Inspections
Visiting the site during and after construction to ensure the contractor has installed the proposed structural elements correctly and safely in line with all the relevant drawings, details and method statements.
